Working Group Highlights
Enhanced Services Pilot
From 2024 through 2026, OCHA has funded and overseen the Enhanced Services Program with partner organization, CAPOC. This model addresses food insecurity holistically and aims to address other impacted Social Determinants of Health through targeted Case Management. OCHA is tracking outcomes such as improvements in household socio-emotional and financial stability, health access, and housing stability as a result of this approach.
CalFresh Enrollment
OCHA is working with SSA and 211 to maintain CalFresh Enrollment at levels that keep procedural denials at a minimum. OCHA is tracking metrics and outcomes including number of applications, number and type of denials, and percent enrolled.
HR 1 Community Response
OCHA is working alongside key education and enrollment partners, SSA, 211 OC, and others to close gaps in education and resources impacted community members to navigate the new work and volunteer requirements to maintain CalFresh Benefits.
